Aldan appointed to work on the OW Bunker receivership

On 17 October 2019, Paul Copley was appointed by ING Bank NV as joint receiver over the OW Bunker security assets.

This was a role Paul previously undertook between 2014 and 2016, prior to leaving PwC. He was recently asked to reprise the role by the secured lenders to OW Bunker, working alongside joint receivers Ed Macnamara and David Kelly of PwC.

Emily Melhuish will work with Paul, Ed and David on the project. She also worked on OW Bunker between 2015 and 2017 prior to her departure from PwC.

Paul David Copley (of Aldan Management Limited), Edward John Macnamara and David James Kelly (both of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) were appointed as joint receivers of the Security Assets (as defined in the Security Agreement dated 19 December 2013 between O.W. Bunker & Trading A/S and certain of its subsidiaries (as Chargors) and ING Bank N.V. (as Security Agent) on 17 October 2019. They act as agents and contract without personal liability. They are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. The joint receivers may act as controllers of personal data as defined by UK data protection law depending upon the specific processing activities undertaken. Aldan Management Limited and/or PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (as applicable) may act as data processors on their instructions. Further information in respect of their privacy policies is available on the firms’ web sites. Personal data will be kept secure and processed only for matters relating to the receivership.
